Our story

We built a map for the unmapped web.

The internet used to feel like an adventure. You'd stumble onto a site about obscure train history, or a hand-built tool for calculating moon phases, or someone's decade-long project cataloguing forgotten arcade games. You didn't go looking for it — you just found it.

Somewhere along the way, that changed. Algorithms got better at keeping us on-platform. Social feeds collapsed around engagement. The interesting, weird, deeply human parts of the web got harder and harder to find.

Wander is our attempt to bring that feeling back.

How it works

We curate a hand-picked collection of websites across 20 categories — technology, science, culture, design, history, and more. Every site in our deck is chosen because it's genuinely interesting: something worth spending time with, not just clicking through.

When you open a card, you get a single site. Visit it, or skip to the next. Over time, Wander learns what you're into and surfaces more of what you love — without ever asking you to log in or create an account.

Who we are

Wander is an independent project. We're not backed by venture capital, we don't sell your data, and we don't take money from sites to rank them higher. Sites can apply to be listed, and we review every submission by hand.

If you've found something on the internet that deserves more attention, we'd love to hear about it.
