About Wander

I built a map for the unmapped web.

The internet used to feel like an adventure. You'd stumble onto a site about obscure train history, or a hand-built tool for calculating moon phases, or someone's decade-long project cataloguing forgotten arcade games. You didn't go looking for it. You just found it.

Somewhere along the way, that changed. Algorithms got better at keeping us on-platform. Social feeds collapsed around engagement. The interesting, weird, deeply human parts of the web got harder and harder to find.

Wander is my attempt to bring that feeling back.

How it works

I clear the trails. You do the wandering.

I curate a handpicked collection of websites across categories like technology, science, culture, design, and history. Open a card and you'll land on a single site. Visit, skip to the next, or drop a breadcrumb if you want to come back. No account, no login, nothing leaves your browser.

Who I am

Wander is independent and self-funded. No venture capital. No data sales. Paid placements exist to keep the lights on, and every one goes through the same review as everything else. If it isn't worth your time, it doesn't get listed.

Sites can apply to be listed, and I review every submission by hand. If you've found a trail worth sharing, I'd love to hear about it.
